The Black Powder league meets on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays of each month. Normal starting times are around 7 pm and run as long as people still wish to shoot. Check the club calendar for special announcements.

The league is open to all Patch & Ball Pistols or Cap & Ball Revolvers. This sport is shot from the bench without the use of holsters, so no special training is required, other than the club's standard training course.

This is a non-competitive environment with all shooters coming out just out for fun and friendship. For those of you who have shot this type of firearm before, don't get hung up on the gun cleaning aspect. We have discovered a fast and easy way to accomplice this enjoyable task.

All necessary training to enjoy this sport is provided by the participants on league nights. If you are curious and do not yet have a firearm of this type come on out anyway and enjoy the fun. The league members will be happy to introduce you to a new shooting style in the art of Black Powder Shooting!
